UK: Inclu Group (Inclu), a UK-based hospitality company, has launched Inclusive Luxury Hotels, a hotel discovery platform tailored specifically for travellers with disabilities.

The platform features properties that are either in the process of, or have been verified by IncluCare – Inclu’s certification platform for hospitality venues that demonstrate “conscious inclusivity” for individuals with disabilities.

Inclusive Luxury Hotels currently features 18 hotels and resorts across 10 countries. Inclu claims it wants to expand to more than 50 properties by the end of the year.

The world’s first property verified by IncluCare is Amilla Maldives, which earned its certification after demonstrating a minimum of 24 months of development and inclusivity for individuals with disabilities.

Six other properties have also achieved Verified by IncluCare status, including The Atlantic Hotel, Jersey; Euphoria Retreat, Greece; Hotel Éclat Beijing, China; La Miniera Pool Villas Pattaya, Thailand; and Leopard Walk Lodge and Ximuwu Lodge, South Africa.

Inclusive Luxury Hotels’ properties that are in the process of becoming Verified by IncluCare will be marked as “En Route” properties. The 11 current En Route properties include Cloud Forest Lodge, Lapa Rios Lodge and Monteverde Lodge in Costa Rica; Conrad London St James, Great Scotland Yard Hotel and Pan Pacific London in the UK; Conrad Maldives Rangali Island; GaÏa Riverlodge and Matachica Resort & Spa in Belize; Hyatt Centric Park City in Utah, USA; and Lujo Hotel In Türkiye.

Verified by IncluCare accreditation comes after hospitality venues have completed a four-step programme with Inclu. The programme steps include: an Inclusive Hospitality Appraisal (IHA) of current facilities, amenities and service provision for guests with disabilities; an online webinar and train-the-trainer programme for leadership, heads of departments and guest-facing personnel; an action and adjustment plan to improve accessibility and guest-inclusivity provision; and visibility and promotion for the hospitality venue.

Hospitality venues are also required to post accessible room inventory on the Inclusive Luxury Hotels platform.

Highlights:

• Inclu has launched Inclusive Luxury Hotels, a hotel discovery platform tailored specifically for travellers with disabilities.
