Stuart Forbes’ career has combined an exceptional breadth of experience, from large-scale urban regeneration schemes to mixed-use conversions and fine dining restaurants, and has embraced numerous building typologies from new steel and glass towers to listed properties across commercial, residential, transportation and hospitality sectors. Such eclecticism not only reflects a curious mind; it is also testimony to Stuart’s creative ingenuity, lateral thinking and ability to solve problems through design. Stuart founded his company, Stuart Forbes Associates, in 2005. Since then, SFA has delivered a number of ‘one of a kind’ projects. Latterly, Stuart’s work has brought together his strong track record in hospitality design with his passion for sport (for 13 years, he was a member of the GB Rowing Team) in the form of the transformational Riverside Stand at Craven Cottage. He is also working in collaboration with other architectural specialists in sports, culture and major events aimed at taking the user experience to the next level.
